Five persons, including an official of state cooperative department, were booked for their alleged involvement in misappropriating funds of ₹82 lakh of a housing society in Thane, police said. "Other accused are civil and electrical contractors who were given various works," police added. A probe is underway and no arrests have been made so far, police said.
