American television broadcaster CBS News is considering a fresh round of layoffs that could affect at least 15% of current staff, Variety reported. Some staffers have already chosen to head to the exits, while about 11 producers tied to "CBS Evening News" have opted for buyout packages. This comes just days after The Washington Post laid off about 300 journalists.
