Protest erupts at IIT Delhi after MSc student dies by suicide

Hundreds of students protested at IIT Delhi, demanding “institutional accountability” after an MSc Physics student allegedly died by suicide after jumping from a building on campus. They demanded the resignation of the Dean and Associate Deans in the Student Affairs Office and the Head of the Physics Department. They also sought ₹1 crore compensation for the student’s family.
