Kashmir filmmaker detained by ICE agents in US without warrant

US' Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents detained Kashmir filmmaker Arfat Sheikh, the Independent reported. His friends alleged he was taken into custody without a warrant despite having his immigration paperwork. He was travelling with author Tara Dorabji, who was expected to speak on experiences of torture survivors in Kashmir at the 'Art as Resistance' panel in Washington.
