AC blast triggers fire at T'gana hospital, 2 infants die & 28 newborns rescued

Two infants died after a fire broke out in the Special Newborn Care Unit (SNCU) at Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) in Telangana's Adilabad. The officials said 28 other infants admitted to the ward were safely rescued and evacuated in time. Preliminary reports indicate that an electrical short circuit involving an air conditioner may have triggered the blaze.
