Chief Justice of India (CJI) Surya Kant said, "There are youngsters like cockroaches, who don't get any employment...Some of them become media...social media, RTI activists and other activists, and they start attacking everyone." The CJI made the remark as he and Justice Joymalya Bagchi were criticising a lawyer for "pursuing" a senior advocate designation, while noting that it is conferred.
