A man from Rajasthan, Sharvan Patel, builds shallow ponds and fills them with water to aid birds and animals in drinking water during intense heat. Patel has built over 130 such ponds across the desert, digging his first pond by hand along with volunteers and villagers. Several videos showed animals including blackbucks, camels and peacocks drinking water from the pond.
