Indian Navy's indigenously built stealth frigate Taragiri will be commissioned on April 3. The ceremony, at Visakhapatnam, will be attended by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. The ship's weapon suite features supersonic Surface-to-Surface Missiles, Medium Range Surface-to-Air Missiles, and a specialised Anti-Submarine Warfare suite. It's driven by a Combined Diesel or Gas (CODOG) propulsion plant.
