Bihar CM announces ₹4 lakh ex-gratia after 7 killed in stampede at Ashok Dham Temple

Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary announced an ex-gratia of ₹4 lakh each for the next of kin of those killed in a stampede at Ashok Dham Temple in Lakhisarai district on Monday. CM Choudhary offered condolences and said, "The incident was extremely tragic and heart-wrenching." The incident occurred after nearly 50,000 people gathered at the temple for a jalabhishek.
