Volunteers, NGO clear heaps of garbage from 500-yr-old lake in J'khand
Several volunteers and an NGO, Vasudha Kalyan United Foundation, cleared heaps of plastic and garbage from a 500-year-old lake, Budhwa Mahadev Talab, from Jharkhand's Hazaribagh. The lake's banks were buried under waste for years, while plastic could be seen floating upon the water. The NGO shared before and after pictures of the cleanliness drive, which showed the difference.
