In latest update to ChatGPT, OpenAI allowed users to directly adjust specific characteristics in ChatGPT, like warmth, enthusiasm, and emoji use. These options now appear in "Personalisation" menu and can be set to "More, Less or Default". The update comes amid an ongoing issue over the tone of the chatbot, with OpenAI rolling back one update for being "too sycophant-y".
