Actor Allu Sirish, Telugu actor Allu Arjun's brother, explained that Hindi studios must learn from Ranbir Kapoor-starrer 'Animal', which had a Telugu dub and earned a "sizable amount" by reaching a wider audience. Sirish said, "'Dhurandhar' not being dubbed into Telugu...was a huge opportunity missed." He added, "I think [Hindi filmmakers] should learn a little from Animal's playbook."
