He was scared to contest 2024 LS polls from Rae Bareli: SP MP Patel on Rahul

Samajwadi Party MP from Pratapgarh Shiv Pal Singh Patel claimed that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was "scared" to contest the 2024 Lok Sabha elections from the Rae Bareli constituency. "It was our national president (Akhilesh Yadav) who reassured and persuaded him, asking him to contest and warning that if he didn't, he (Akhilesh) would field his own candidate," Patel added.
