Chinese robotics firm Run Robotics has unveiled what it calls the world's first "centaur" wheel-leg hybrid robot at WAIC 2026 in Shanghai. Engineered to be explosion-proof, the modular machine combines a four-wheel chassis with dual robotic arms to tackle hazardous, rough terrain. Capable of carrying up to 120 kg, it is built for emergency rescue, firefighting and industrial inspections.
