Freedom fighter's widow donates books to Assam flood-affected students

Hemlata Bhuyan, the 85-year-old widow of late freedom fighter Ghanakanta Bhuyan, donated educational materials worth ₹50,000, including books, to flood-affected students in Assam. Bhuyan travelled nearly 110 km along with her grandson to the school, which is among the oldest girls' schools in Assam. She made the donations using the freedom fighter pension received by her husband.
