Acid attack survivor Professor Mangala Kapoor, a renowned classical music teacher of the Gwalior gharana, has been conferred with Padma Shri, the fourth-highest civilian award of India. Mangala has been awarded for her contributions in the field of literature and education. "I am very happy, it cannot be expressed in words, I could not believe it," Mangala said.
