Kuwait condemned Iran's attacks calling them a "flagrant violation of international law" and said it reserved the right to "take all necessary measures" for the country's protection. It accused Iran of deliberately targeting civilian infrastructure after Kuwait's power generation and water desalination plant were attacked. Iran claimed it attacked US military sites in Kuwait, Jordan and Bahrain.
