The government is conducting hydrogen fuel trials on 10 transport routes across India as part of efforts to expand the use of alternative fuels, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari said. The pilot projects include the Greater Noida-Delhi-Agra, Sahibabad-Faridabad-Delhi, and Pune-Mumbai routes. "Future of the transportation industry is hydrogen, and hydrogen is the fuel of the future," Gadkari said.
