Hyderabad-based startup CEO Radha Krishna Kavuluru said India's IT sector getting one-day WFH can save 60 lakh litres of petrol, equalling ₹15,000 crore savings/year. He calculated based on the average office commute being 15 km at 45 kmpl mileage, and assuming Indian IT workforce to be 90 lakh. Some users blamed government for price hikes, while others supported Kavuluru's calculation.
