Stanford's TCIP3 wipes out lymphoma tumors in 11 days
Stanford researchers developed TCIP3, a compound that repurposes cancer-driving protein BCL6 to trigger cancer cell death instead of blocking it. In mouse studies, tumors vanished within 11 days. Unlike current treatments, TCIP3 activates death genes in cancer cells. It may also help treat autoimmune diseases, but requires further lab testing before human trials.
