The second India–Australia Defence Ministers’ Dialogue in Delhi between Defence Ministers Rajnath Singh and Richard Marles encouraged further cooperation between Indian Coast Guard and Australia’s Maritime Border Command. Both nations agreed to continue aircraft deployment from each other’s territories. A Search and Rescue (SAR) and tabletop exercise will also be hosted in Chennai in June 2026.
