A day after the rebel TMC faction took over the party headquarters in Kolkata, ex-West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee released a video message. Calling rebels "traitors", she said, "The party symbol will not go anywhere...If anyone wants to stop me, they'll have to kill me." The rebel faction met Election Commission and staked its claim to party's name and symbol.
