Nineteen-year-old Piyush Raj has become the first athlete from Bihar to win an international athletics medal at any level. He achieved the feat after winning a bronze medal in the 4x400 metre relay event at the 22nd Asian U20 Athletics Championships 2026 in Hong Kong, China.
