After facing criticism, the Delhi government has cancelled its ₹6.2-crore tender to procure two VIP boats with AC cabins for inspections of the Yamuna River. Delhi minister Parvesh Verma said that two officials have also been "suspended for issuing the tenders without prior information". The tender had asked for premium features like customised business class pushback VIP seats, among others.
