There shall be no illegal detention in Delhi during peaceful gatherings: SC amid CJP protest

SC directed authorities that there shall be no illegal detention of any individual during peaceful gatherings of people beyond area where prohibitory orders are in operation. SC also directed police to remove all barricades unless they are "absolutely warranted" and to ensure all metro/train services are operational. Over 7,000 protesters were detained during CJP protest on Saturday, reports said.
