The BJP government in West Bengal has painted Kolkata's roads, bridges and crossings in bright colours ahead of Durga Puja. The roads feature red, pink, yellow and orange lanes, while busy crossings have been decorated with floral motifs. This will be the first Durga Puja celebrated under the BJP government since it came to power in the state.
