IndusInd Bank on Monday informed the stock exchanges that during internal review of processes relating to Other Asset and Other Liability accounts of the derivative portfolio, the bank noted some discrepancies in these account balances. "Bank's detailed internal review has estimated an adverse impact of approximately 2.35% of the bank's net worth as of December 2024," the bank said.

An Air India flight bound for New York returned to Mumbai on Monday due to a bomb threat, following which mandatory checks were undertaken. The flight reportedly carried 322 people. Officials said the threat note was found inside the toilet. "The flight returned in the interest of the safety and security of all on board," Air India said.

Clashes broke out in Mhow town of Madhya Pradesh's Indore district after stones were allegedly pelted at a rally celebrating India's Champions Trophy win on Sunday, following which security was heightened. Locals alleged that stones were hurled when the rally approached the Jama Masjid area. Vehicles were torched and vandalised too. District Collector Asheesh Singh said peace has been established.
