NY woman pleads guilty to smuggling 3 Indians into US from Canada

A New York woman pleaded guilty to helping smuggle three Indians and one Canadian into US in January 2025 after they crossed Canada's border. The 43-year-old woman received instructions to pick the men and was expected to receive payment for it. US' Department of Justice said her phone's texts revealed she has been involved in many other smuggling operations.
