Kainchi Dham to get Char Dham-style registration system amid sharp rise in visitors

The Nainital administration is set to introduce a registration system for pilgrims visiting Kainchi Dham, initially on weekends, amid a sharp rise in visitors, The Indian Express reported. The proposed system will be modelled on the registration mechanism used for Uttarakhand's Char Dham pilgrimage. Nainital DM Lalit Mohan said a report recommending the system will be sent to the government.
