CScale raises $145 mn from NVIDIA, Intel for AI data centres

Silicon Valley startup CScale raised $145 million from NVIDIA and Intel, bringing total funding to $188 million. Led by ex-Cisco executive Martin Lund, the company is developing fiber-optic chips to replace copper cables in AI data centres, improving speed and efficiency. The chips are expected to roll out by 2028.
