Haryana village passes resolution against love marriages

A social panchayat in Haryana's Arya Nagar village in Hisar has passed a resolution calling for the social boycott of residents who enter love marriages within the village and families supporting them. The decision followed three such marriages in recent months. Around 1,000 villagers attended the meeting. The elected gram panchayat has distanced itself from the resolution entirely.
