What will happen to users who abuse Claude?

Anthropic has prohibited users from subjecting its Claude AI models to "sustained and needless abusive or cruel behaviour". Under its user policy, the company may warn, throttle, limit, suspend or terminate access for violations. In rare cases, Claude models could also end conversations with users who persistently engage in abusive behaviour.
