British author Samantha Harvey has won the 2024 Booker Prize for her space-themed novel Orbital. The book, set aboard the International Space Station, follows six astronauts navigating a transformative day, exploring Earth from a celestial perspective. Harvey, the first woman to win since 2019, was awarded £50,000 at a ceremony in London's Old Billingsgate.
