India received the Prince Michael International Decade of Action Road Safety Award. "The award recognises our remarkable progress in vehicle safety—the best globally since 2014," Minister of State for Road Transport & Highways Ajay Tamta said. "India’s commitment to road safety is reflected in crash test standards, pedestrian protection, speed limiters and mandatory ABS for motorcycles," he added.
