Bengaluru-based startup Sarla Aviation has successfully completed flight testing of its 700 kg-class electric aircraft Sylla 1.0, making it India's heaviest electric aircraft. The campaign included more than 500 tests and over 18 hours of flight testing across six months. The aircraft is a half-scale version of a planned six-seater flying taxi, designed to cut commute times in congested cities.
