183 symbols available, why envelope? Court questions EC over TMC rebel camp's symbol

The Calcutta HC raised concerns over the EC's allotment of symbols to the Arup Roy led-TMC rebel faction, asking, "How many symbols they have? 183? Why are you putting envelopes?" The court also urged the poll panel to act impartially and not enter into disputes. This comes ahead of the bypolls in the state for the Nandigram and Rejinagar seats.
