CJI DY Chandrachud told a woman, who informed her that she did her PhD in the US, to find a job. The bench was hearing a matrimonial dispute case and advised the couple to agree to a mutual divorce. "You can spend 10 years of your life fighting the case...It'll continue for 10 years and...lawyers will make merry," he added.
