The Supreme Court on Friday granted the Telangana Assembly Speaker an additional three weeks to decide on disqualification petitions against two of the 10 rebel BRS MLAs. The court warned that contempt proceedings may follow if the deadline is missed. The court had granted two weeks to the Speaker in the last hearing on January 16.
