Oil prices cross $116 mark to near six-month high

Brent crude futures neared an almost six-month high on October 23 after settling at $116.72/barrel, the highest since May 4. This comes amid Yemen's Iran-backed Houthis' attacks on Saudi Arabia, the world's largest crude oil exporter, and US President Donald Trump's threats of fresh military action against Iran and heightened supply fears. WTI crude futures climbed 3.82% to $103.27/barrel.
