Breastfeeding for 6 months may lower ADHD risk: Study

A study by Norway's University of Bergen found that breastfeeding up to six months may be associated with a lower risk of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) symptoms in children aged three to eight. Breast milk contains long-chain fatty acids, amino acids and antibodies that support brain development. ADHD is a neurodevelopmental condition marked by inattention and restless behaviour.
