Actress Soha Ali Khan spoke about the ancestral Pataudi Palace and said that her mother, Sharmila Tagore, still keeps a tab on the palace's maintenance expenses. She said, "My mother sits with her hisaab-kitaab, she knows daily expenditure." Soha added, "We whitewash Pataudi, it's not painted because it's a lot less expensive...We haven't bought anything new for a long time."
