Maharashtra FDA suspends BEST canteen licence in Borivali

Maharashtra FDA suspended the licence of a BEST canteen at Sai Ashram Bus Stop, Borivali West, after inspections revealed unhygienic kitchen and drainage conditions, rusted utensils, improper storage, and use of unauthorised food colours. A statewide inspection drive also seized 35,547 kg of food products worth ₹79.97 lakh across multiple divisions.
