Rare blueberry species rediscovered in Arunachal Pradesh after 188 yrs

A rare and endangered blueberry species, 'Vaccinium piliferum', has been rediscovered in the forests of Arunachal Pradesh after nearly 188 years. "First documented in 1836 and believed lost to science for generations, the rediscovery of this rare species is a major scientific achievement," Arunachal Pradesh Deputy CM Chowna Mein posted on X. He also shared pictures of the rare species.
