West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee slammed the Election Commission (EC) and BJP, alleging that the state is being targeted ahead of the Assembly elections after senior officials were transferred. "Even before formal notification of elections, more than 50 senior officials....have been arbitrarily removed," she wrote on X. "What we are witnessing is nothing short of an undeclared emergency," she said.
