Economic crisis triggers violent anti-govt protests in Sierra Leone

People in the West African country of Sierra Leone have been protesting against rising inflation, increasing prices of basic goods, fuel shortage and other economic hardships. At least two police officers and one civilian died as anti-government protests in the capital Freetown turned violent. According to NetBlocks, Sierra Leone had only 5% of internet connectivity nationwide during protests.
