Let him contest bypoll: HC to WB govt on Congress' arrested Nandigram candidate

The Calcutta High Court directed the state government not to take steps against Congress' Nandigram bypoll candidate Milan Pradhan until October 9. It also said he should be allowed to contest the polls, provided he gets bail. The order came while hearing his plea challenging his September 18 arrest in connection with cases registered in 2007 involving allegations of murder.
