Govt issues clarification after post links Trump's tweet for PM Modi to lobbying firm

The government clarified after a post linked US President Trump's message to PM Modi on becoming longest-serving PM of India to a lobbying firm. Calling it "misleading", MEA said it's normal practice in US for Embassies and other entities to hire lobbying firms. Filings by Mercury Public Affairs LLC clearly mention they only disseminated the post on X, MEA said.
