Man uses SIM-swapping to steal ₹2.56-crore crypto, uses it to buy gold-plated teeth

A 25-year-old man named Ajay Shinjin has been jailed for 2.5 years after pleading guilty to a SIM-swapping conspiracy and stealing ₹ 2.56-crore cryptocurrency. Shinjin was linked to four SIM-swapping devices and used the proceeds of the crime to fund his lavish lifestyle, including luxury Dubai holidays, a high-end apartment and gold-plated teeth grills.
