US sanctions 4 Indian firms for their 'involvement' in Iran's oil industry

Four Indian companies are among 16 firms sanctioned by US for their alleged involvement in Iran’s petroleum and petrochemical industry. According to US' treasury department, the sanctioned Indian firms are Austinship Management, BSM Marine, Cosmos Lines, and Flux Maritime. These companies played a critical role in transporting, selling, and marketing Iranian oil despite global sanctions, it said.

PCB seeks ICC's clarification after Indian National Anthem plays before Aus-Eng CT match

The PCB has reached out to ICC for clarification after Indian National Anthem was briefly played by mistake at Lahore's Gaddafi Stadium ahead of Australia-England Champions Trophy 2025 match. The PCB also questioned presence of the Indian anthem in playlist, given India are not playing any of their matches in Pakistan. Notably, India are playing all their matches in Dubai.

This comes after New Zealand defeated Bangladesh by five wickets in their Group A match in Rawalpindi on Monday.
