IN-SPACe has found Reliance Jio's proposal to deploy around 1,600 low-Earth orbit (LEO) satellites "technically sound", The Economic Times reported. The approval allows the government to back Jio in securing international orbital rights, a market currently dominated by Elon Musk's Starlink. If successful, the project could create India's first homegrown LEO satellite constellation.
